GBI’s Anti-Trafficking App Contest Featured on CNN

The was created to respond to one of today’s most pressing development challenges – sex and labor trafficking. Launched by GBI Alliance partner, NetHope and the Demi and Ashton Foundation, the contest challenged technology developers from Russia and the region to design mobile apps to help Russian civil society organizations raise public awareness of trafficking and deliver prevention messages and services to vulnerable populations and victims.
