Senegal’s TADAT provides an objective and standardized approach to assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of a country’s tax administration system. Developed and maintained by the TADAT Secretariat, housed at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), TADAT assesses the health of a country’s tax administration at a point in time. It is designed to provide an objective and consistent assessment of performance outcomes against international good practices in tax administration. USAID/Senegal requested that Integra (under LEAP III) provide personnel support in the TADAT assessment in September 2019. Integra brought on a TADAT trained assessor to join the team of IMF professionals in Senegal, engaging in fieldwork and contributing towards the draft and final Senegal TADAT Performance Assessment Report.
