USAID/Asia – Central Asia Assessment
USAID/Asia asked Integra to performa desk assessment on Central Asia outlining the regional and country relevance relevance vis-à-vis U.S. Government interests, as laid out in the National Security Strategy and the Department of State and USAID Joint Strategic Plan, 2018 – 2022. Integra conducted the desk assessment on Central Asia synthesizing U.S. strategic goals, opportunities for advancing regional interests, and the geopolitical role of each of the five Central Asian countries. The Integra AEO team recruiting an expert with strong ties and experiecne in Central Asia who conducted a preliminary document refview to understand the development issues in these five Central Asian countries and the implications they may have on the broader region. The team identified four fundamental changes that will allow USAID to serve as a region-wide facilitator and catalyst for initiatives that promote democracy and improve cooperation and coordination in sovereign states.
